I'm writing because my family and I were affected by the economic collapse of 2008, and we don’t want it to happen again bankruptcy and now our funds are limited due to no wage increases for years of work at my husband's job and EVER INCREASING PRICES FROM FOOD, CONSUMER GOODS, AND GAS. DON'T REWARD WALL STREET AND STICK UP FOR THE LITTLE GUY!!!! It seems that we let these corporate big wigs, bankers, and big oil have their way all the time WHILE HARD-WORKING AVERAGE AMERICAN CITIZENS GET LITTLE COMPENSATION FOR THEIR BACK-BREAKING TOIL, BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS!!!! My husband works 24/7 day and night at all hours on call at his job and has little recourse for a BETTER JOB, BETTER PAY, AND RETIREMENT. Our family life definitely suffers as he has LITTLE TO NO FREE TIME to spend with me and the kids. PLEASE HELP THE HARD-WORKING AMERICAN PEOPLE AND NOT THE GREEDY CORPORATIONS, THEIR CEOS, AND BANKERS!!!!!

One way to change the incentives so Wall Street doesn’t collapse our economy again would be for regulators to set up a way for shareholders to grab back ill-gotten gains.

If it turns out that the profits in a given year were built on shoddy practices that become clear in the out-years, those bonus payments should be forfeited.
