Hello Chairman Gensler, I am disappointed in your recent comments hinting at reducing or getting rid of reporting requirements for scope 3 emissions reporting. These downstream considerations for companies will affect our climate, and therefore should be estimated and reported. To consider easing these rules shows a lack of sincerity to curbing global catastrophe. Our representatives and leaders have shrugged off true action on human induced climate change for decades, handing the problem to my generation, and now to my children's and beyond. The other reporting requirements by businesses to your commission concern only economic matters, which can rise and fall with very little lasting impact, yet you would consider drastic disruption of their operation for failure to comply. The excess heat that our industrial society has caused to be retained by the Earth will already take 1000 years to reach an equilibrium naturally, but you consider removing these metrics as an inconvenience, as if it does not matter. Please reconsider this action, protect the main resource that gives us the ability to have a stable economy in the first place, the Earth's stable predictable condition. Thank you
