Increased regulation will further impede farmers and ranchers from providing food for the US and around the world. This rule could have major consequences to the ability of farmers and ranchers to produce food, fuel and fiber for the U.S. and the globe and puts in jeopardy the security and stability of the U.S. supply chain. Farmers do not have teams of compliance officers or attorneys dedicated to handling SEC compliance issues. At a critical time of food shortages, we do not need further regulations.
