Countryman Countryman, Unless someone is living in a cave the negative effects of climate change can be seen everywhere in fires, floods, polluted drinking water and lack of adequate water supplies to agricultural areas. Please start holding the companies and financial industry accountable for the destruction they are supporting. Disclosure is a first yet minimal step we MUST take. This proposal is a vital step forward to fix a broken system of inadequate, not comparable, voluntary climate risk disclosure. It will protect investors, encourage prospective retirement savers to invest in the U.S. capital markets, and provide market participants with the climate-related information they need to accurately price climate risk and make well-informed investment decisions.
