Countryman Countryman, I am writing in support of the proposal to require public companies to make compulsory, uniform reports about their climate related monetary risks with their yearly SEC filings. It is important that there be strong disclosures about the increasing risk that climate change poses to investors and their portfolios. This is especially important for those who are trying to look ahead and plan for their retirement. It is very difficult at present to what the risks are and how they compare with other companies.
