June 16, 2022 I am in support of the new SEC rule. I feel that there are significant financial risks that climate change exposes businesses to that investors and consumers are not aware of. This new rule allows investors and the consumers to see that climate change currently has financial and risk implications that are growing with time. Often, only the costs of mitigating climate change is discussed with no costs caused by climate change to balance these mitigation costs. The new rule will both show the importance of climate mitigation projects and the real risks to these companies that investors are not aware of.
