Hello, My Name is Karen Wilson, PhD. in Ecology. I am writing today to strongly support Securities and Exchange Commissions (SEC) proposed rule to require publicly-traded companies to disclose climate-related financial risk information (S7-10-22). Climate change has already affected my home town (Portland, Maine) through sea-level rise that floods low-lying commercial districts and changing summer rain patterns and winter snow packs impacting local agricultural production. The manner in which companies and their products interact with the climate system, and the financial risks associated with these interactions, should be important considerations for investors both large corporate investors, and individuals such as my family. This transparency is critical as we all make choices that will impact our futures, and our childrens futures. Please finalize this rule as soon as possible, and make it as strong as possible for our present and our future. Sincerely, Karen Wilson
