I strongly oppose the passing of this rule. The rule is based on the false premis that carbon dioxide emissions from human activity is causing catastrophic climate change. Switching from fossil fuel energy to exclusively renewables would have a far greater catastrophic effect on the global environment than continued use of fossil fuels. China has twice the number of coal-fired power plants than the the rest of the world and 4X the number in the US. And they are building hundreds more. Therefore, the idea that the US can save the globe from climate change is preposterous. The climate has always changed and carbon dioxide is a substance necessary for life on earth. It is plant food. ESG scores will do NOTHING to ward off climate change; they are an attack on freedom and capitalism. They are a tool to force behavior change on the march to Communism. ESG scores are patterned on the CCP social credit score. They have no place in a free country and are a violation of the US constitution.
