I am against the SEC making it mandatory for companies to report on how well they are meeting climate change goals. The regulation’s purpose is not to protect investors from fraud and other malfeasance but to put pressure on companies to support Biden’s “green” political agenda. (An agenda that could not get passed in Congress.) To put such regulations in place does the following: 1) Places a financial burden on companies. The stock market is crashing due to Biden’s “temporary” inflation. Let’s not put a further burden on companies. 2) Is an attack on free markets and, thus, an attack on our individual freedoms. 3) Is an obvious end run around Congress. v/r Craig Jones Nags Head, NC
