This proposed rule is just one more example of government overreach. It's also just one more example of government red tape that increases the cost of products to the consumers, which hits those who can't afford it the hardest. If a company wishes to share this information it certainly can. In this age of free flow information, if a potential investor wants to find this information it's not at all hard to do. For the SEC to require this information to be provided is unreasonable, unnecessary, and borders on abuse of authority. This proposed rule should be withdrawn.
