Ladies and Gentlemen: I hold stock in numerous companies. I support the proposed Rule. Such disclosure is vital. Climate change is a documented fact which affects every inhabitant of this country and indeed the world. It can no longer be ignored, as its effects become ever more prevalent and visible and conditions worsen. It affects business, health, food supplies, pollution, population centers, recreation, and matters of life and death. Therefore, it is critically important that companies share how they are dealing with the threat of climate change with readily transparent disclosures, and I intend to make investment decisions based upon such information.
