 This rule would be incredibly onerous on businesses requiring them to put effort into producing information that would mostly be guesses and not helpful to the consumer. This extra compliance effort would increase overheads and make it even harder for businesses to improve their products. Businesses like those I've worked in already have to spend a large fraction of their time/money keeping up with inflation, energy price increases, and labor and parts shortages requiring constant redesigns. This is keeping them from doing the work that actually matters such as making new products or improving products and reducing their production costs (and therefore prices).

Furthermore the implementation of this rule would do nothing but add costs on the government side of the equation costing taxpayers additional money for no benefit to their wallet or the environment (the extra paperwork and human effort probably makes this even WORSE for the environment).
