Regarding the SEC proposed rule for Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors. This policy is a predatory practice that unfairly targets honest law abiding companies. It burdens their fair and legal business practices and causes unfair competition within the different market sectors. For the federal government to target specific entities who are completely following all rules laws and regulations is a massive overreach and quite simply a dictating practice. It goes agains the basic rights and beliefs as a free society. It simply goes against the purpose of why the forefathers wrote the US constitution. Only congress has the authority to write laws that can have this much impact on our basic freedoms as business owners and free market enterprises.
