Regarding the SEC proposed rule for Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors.

Companies are already required to disclose material risks to the company or future earnings. Numerous disclosure requirements already cover what would hypothetically be climate-based risks to corporations. Introducing duplicitous regulation doesn't help investors and certainly doesn't help our companies compete globally.

Moreover, this proposal falls outside of the limitations of the commission, as set forth by Congress. It is blurring the lines between a free market and the federal government, coercing businesses to operate in a way select government agencies, leaders or commissions see fit.
