I disagree with the proposed rule for “The Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors”. This wide-ranging proposal imposes a significant amount of burden for companies for the benefit of little or no added value to investors and the economy. This proposed framework lacks a credible rationale for material risks that should already be captured in the current disclosure requirements, if one considers “climate change” a material risk. As a small business owner, this proposal is an inappropriate and misguided use of the SEC’s authority to appease political demands and “climate” hype. Sincerely, Angie Holt
