The SEC's proposed sweeping new rules requiring publicly traded, and perhaps even private, companies to disclose extensive climate-related data and additional “climate risks” is one of the worst examples of government overreach I've ever seen.

When did the SEC become the climate-change police? This is the height of government overreach that has a lot of small business owners who are the backbone of our economy scared They're already burdened by government bureaucrats and overregulation. To put it bluntly, it is Orwellian. It's moving us toward a totalitarian country.
