As an investor, I would much prefer to have as much information as possible about material risks that could affect the profitability of companies I invest in. Given the impact that climate change will have on the global economy in the coming decades, it is particularly important that I know the exposure my investments have to that risk. Additionally, I want to be able to know the greenhouse gas emissions of companies I invest in such that I can avoid sponsoring activities I do not personally agree with.
