May 25, 2022 When I invest I want to know what my dollars are supporting, including environmental track record, carbon footprint, greenhouse gas emissions, and other critical information. Proposed new rules requiring companies to disclose their carbon emissions and study the impact of how their products increase climate risk and devastation would be a big step towards providing what I need to know to be environmentally responsible. These disclosures would also dispel the greenwashing so rampant today - masking the reality of what is actually practiced.
