May 17, 2022 I never thought in my lifetime that the SEC would engage in a system of segregation and bigotry after all the upheaval that lead to Civil Rights era. Yet here we have bureaucrats demanding businesses pay protection money to avoid being called polluters (regardless of whether they are actually harming the environment). If passed this same ESG regime will be weaponized beyond climate change to go after businesses for racial quotas and will disproportionally affect non-incorporated businesses, several of which are minority owned. I wholesale reject any system of segregation or bigotry, including these proposed rules.
