I support this proposal completely. In our lifetime rapid climate change is a clear and present issue that will not only affect us but future generations to come. Clear and standardized reporting is necessary for our economy to function effectively. For investors to make informed, educated investments, they need to be able to accurately ascertain the environmental impact companies have. There is clear evidence showing that reporting has a positive impact to defeat climate change, therefore we must act swiftly in order to preserve billions of lives.
