 This is a terrible rule. This has nothing to do with financial stability, and is instead clearly a political move. It would be virtually impossible for a business to capture scope 2 and 3 rules. Additionally, this rule has nothing to do with protection of consumers and investors. This would clearly put undue burden on all businesses operating in the United States, allowing foreign competitors an unfair advantage in costs. This is a very anti-consumer and anti-business rule, and should be withdrawn and whoever submitted it should be embarrassed by the massive overreach of the SEC mission.
