 As an individual investor I am opposed to the onerous climate regulations that are being proposed.  The benefit to consumers has not been proven. Certainly it is not outweighed by the enormous costs involved. I see no economic benefit to consumers for knowing how a security is rated in terms of social and climate related issues. The existence of the rating system  itself discriminates against  certain  essential  economic industries such as oil producers. It threatens their existence as it defines their product as being undesirable.  The average investor would not agree with that as it is essential  part of so many products and is at the heart of everything we do and consume today.  What would be the effect if in a few  years we dont have any fuel for airplanes ? Plastics? Food? We are seeing the effects of that price inflation already.  Please reject the idea of adding ESG scores to the securities we buy. It would have disastrous consequences for our economy without any REAL benefi
