May 12, 2022 I strongly support this rule. We are in a climate emergency and we need to act now. Without dramatic changes our country will suffer the consequences of negligence. We all know that prevention, while costly, is far less costly than the certain penalties of failing to act. The transparency this rule requires will hold companies accountable for their role in climate change, and give investors more leverage in forcing changes to business practices that contribute to rising global temperatures. Without this rule, companies won't voluntarily disclose this information, and there will be no way to measure results. Please pass and implement this rule. Thank you.
