Dear Commissioner Gary Gensler,

I just wrote to the SEC supporting their proposed climate disclosure rule, File Number S7-10-22.

The SEC is taking a leadership role in addressing the pollution that stems from farming and ranching.

Similar to corporations currently regulated by the SEC, farmers and ranchers need to realize their impact on the environment and be held accountable.

Farmers could and should play a leading role in climate sustainability and this rule change will require them to do so. Elected lawmakers, like yourself, should follow the lead of regulators at the SEC and codify these rule changes into law.

Thank you for your leadership on this important matter.

Regards,
