***May 11, 2022 I support the SEC's proposals to require standardization of climate-related disclosures. Climate change will become more disruptive within the next few years and legislation as well as economic realities will affect businesses with exposure to these disruptions. Investors need to be able to evaluate exposure of listed companies to these risks. Free markets depend on freely available information and, for information to be useful, the data about different players in a marketplace need to be comparable. The stock market needs key data to be comparable. If climate impact data isn't comparable, it's just useless greenwashing. ***
