This policy is likely to have a material impact on business, increased costs of operations, and poor financial outcomes, likely ending up with a choice of having a cleaner environment or having a sustainable economy providing the basic needs to live an acceptable life beyond poverty. Policy, like life, is cause and effect. We cannot blindly seek utopia at ANY cost. Climate studies have still not been conclusuvely accepted across the political divide, leading this to be politically tainted. Aside from hamstringing US corporations competing against countries that will not accept policies like the Keyoto Protocol, this policy will also increase the gulf of the haves and the have nots. Do NOT implement this economically damaging policy in an economy under extreme duress! Free markets, managed capitalism and entrepreneurialism are the only levers of a sustaining economy that can provide opportunities to all Americans. Signed, Concerned citizen
