I have one comment on the proposed climate change rules that are proposed at the SEC.

Don't do it.

The SEC should focus on financial regulations being equally enforced for all companies. Climate considerations should not be a part of this.

Where I live in Ohio there were glaciers 10 miles north of my home 10,000 years ago. Would the SEC regulating the use of outboard motors on the Native American canoes have prevented those glaciers from melting? Of course that's a ridiculous question, but so is your proposed regulation. It will distract from the effort of companies to focus on there main businesses. This will cost myself and millions of other retires, as well those still working who invest in their 401 k's and ira's.

The SEC should not implement this politically motivated rule.

Aloha,
