I think it's time to update our world views. Familiar industrialized approaches, like ruin/rescue economics and \"more for less\" thinking, might enable personal enrichment, but it comes at a very high price.

The natural world has wealth and abundance, too, and better management of land, landscape, non-human forms of life, as well as educating people and corporate decision makers about use-abuse of natural abundance should be part of the equation, somehow, and part of the discussion.

ESG reporting seems imperfect, but a necessary starting point. Instead of feeling like permanent handcuffs, is it possible for ESG frameworks to evolve over time?

If there is an opportunity to improve our management, understanding, and discussion of human impact on natural world, I vote for taking it.
