I am deeply concerned about this rule raising already sky-high food and material prices.

Right now, the United States is dealing with unprecedented prices for agricultural and industrial goods. We as a country and a globe are recovering from an incredibly damaging pandemic, and no business in the United States is caught up from the backlog created by the COVID 19 and it's associated destruction of the global trade network.

For the SEC to implement and incredibly bureaucratic and largely ineffective means to shoe horn in \"climate related disclosures\" is simply ridiculous. The SEC at this time should be removing red-tape so American businesses can get back to work. Not hampering small and midcap companies, for the benefit of huge tech corps.

Not to mention the disastrous trickle down effects on consumers. This rule will cause businesses to face a rising cost. Which will undoubtedly be felt by consumers and families.

I'd like this rule to be shot down. Or at least explain how you are going to offset these tremendous costs on businesses, their clients, and consumers.

I hope to see a return to common sense from the SEC.
