To Whom It May Concern: I am 82 years old and have watched politicians play with energy availability and prices most of my adult life. Energy is life. To restrict it WILL kill people. I am also an historian, for land that was under 300 feet of ice 20,000 years ago and has been SLOWLY recovering ever since. Winters are marginally less intense now than when I was born, but so-called 'man made' global warming is not a serious threat to humanity and CO2 gives life to plants. Damaging our energy independence is not only un-American, it shows a disturbing inability to accept reality. Regards, Dave Battey
