Dear Chair Gary Gensler,

I am writing to express my strong support for the Proposed Rule S7-10-22: Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors. This is important!

Climate change will create significant instability and disruption in our financial and economic systems, especially if we do not act immediately to stem the problem. We need you to implement and enforceme strong rules to give investors like me the tools we need to protect our investments! This will also hold companies accountable for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

I appreciate that the SEC has been working to ensure that investors and the public have access to science-based information about risks that could affect their investments. Climate change will have far-reaching impacts across our society. Access to reliable data about its likely effects on companies’ assets and long-term business outlook is essential for investors to make informed decisions. Please act now!

Please pass a strong climate disclosure rule as soon as possible.

Sincerely,
Dr. Adrienne Cool
