I stand against the proposed rule for the Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors. My main reasons to reject this rule are: The rule hands power over virtually every American company to an un-elected group of bureaucrats whose overall intentions are highly debatable to say the least; The compliance costs would be unmanageable and un-affordable by most companies; Climate Change by definition is too murky and uncertain with unproven mitigations to link this to financial soundness.
