Hello,

I Strongly Support S7-10-22. It is long past time that companies not only consider but disclose their operations' climate altering impacts and the risk they face. Consumers and investors have the right to know how risky a company is: both economically and holistically. Climate risk is serious and severe and includes many components such as the resilience of the company to changing climatic and geopolitical conditions. Furthermore, when companies are running operations whose very nature are neither sustainable for the company nor the larger economic community, they pose an economic threat to investors and the planet.
I strongly support the proposal made by the SEC to require companies to
1. disclose their climate altering greenhouse gas emissions
2. announce the measures they are taking to respond to the climate crisis
My comments are in reference to S7-10-22. https://www.sec.gov/rules/proposed/2022/33-11042.pdf

Thank you,
