Hello,

Simply put, this is a complete over-reach by the SEC on setting policy for 'Climate Change'. It's Congress's job to set this policy, not the SEC.

It's very tragic that President Biden and his liberal friends can't get their climate agenda approved but that doesn't make it right for the SEC to champion this in lieu of these failures. This completely erodes the democratic process in which we all live by and therefore undermines the confidence and faith in the government. Furthermore, the president wonders why the US oil companies can't get behind his efforts in pumping more oil during this time of crisis.....well look no further than this over-reach by the SEC and the techniques employed by the president to undermine the oil groups when he claims he's doing no such thing. It's disgraceful, disgusting and outright lying to the American public!

Also, do not forget the costs that companies now need to pony up to pay for this. I'm sure the SEC doesn't care because 'Climate Change is an existential threat to humanity' so the means justify the ends. Finally, lets not forget that when companies have more expenses to stay compliant, these costs eventually end up with the consumer and quite frankly enough is enough. Gasoline and overall inflation is running at a clip not seen in decades but hey, who cares because 'Climate Change is an existential threat to humanity'!

Please do away with these rules as they do not belong under the SEC purview! Nothing like having 'yes' men bow to a liberal minority....absolutely disgraceful.

Sincerely,

A very concerned citizen of the United States of America
