To whom it may concern, I’ll make this short and sweet. I am a 37 year old father of two who is alarmingly concerned about our planet’s changing climate and the degradation of our biosphere. All the science points to the fact that the status quo is not only suicidal from the perspective of maintaining prosperous human societies, but will end up costing far more in the long run than acting now. When the negative costs to human health and well-being are so quantifiable, it would simply be a failure of the government to not require businesses to report on their true environmental impact.
