These regulations are too complex and not investor friendly.
The SEC should get together with the FTC to come up with a label for both investments and consumer products that plainly disclose the impacts on the environment.
This would be akin to an energy star label, FDA label or a Schumer box.
It should be ubiquitous and understood by all.
It should not be too heavily focused on Greenhouse gas emissions. Rather it should be more inclusive of other issues including water pollution, deforestation, etc.
Also, any disclosures should be subject to consumer and investor testing... but done quickly.
Any proposal should also include mockups of these labels for public comment.
