Greenhouse gas emissions are the major cause of global warming. Corporate disclosure of scope one, two and three emissions will keep companies accountable a vital step forward in eliminating greenwashing.
I applaud your landmark decision to require companies to disclose, via audit, their emissions. Accurately counting GHG emissions is an imperative requirement for heading off catastrophic climate change.
These new rules will greatly help mitigate our terrible legacy of a rapidly-heating, climate-crisis-filled world to future generations of not only people, but the vast array of animal life that we depend on depend on for our survival.
