As a citizen of the US government, I would like to express my sincere support and approval for S7-10-22. I believe that greenhouse gas emissions and climate risks represent essential information for American investors who, for as long as our country has existed, have demonstrated that positive social good and financial gain can, and ought to, be achieved together. Furthermore, carbon emission disclosures are not only environmentally prudent but also financially material, as demonstrated by the fact that investors with over $130 trillion in assets (GFANZ) have requested their portfolio companies to disclose this kind of information. For these reasons, I adamantly support the passing of S7-10-22.
