I think requiring companies to submit data about their climate change actions is an overreach and should not be required.
The government should not be involved in picking winners and losers. Since climate has nothing to do with the financial strength of the company it should not be included in the SEC required reporting. There are many private organizations that rate companies on issues like climate change, right to life, Second amendment, and social justice issues. If people want to know about a companies stance, the private sector should handle it.
