I have familiarized myself with common trading practices and restrictions. Such as the free ride rule, wash sale rule, understanding settlement (T+2) restrictions to avoid Good Faith violations as well as others. Most opportunities for learning about investing comes from online resources as well as online forums such as Reddit.

11. What else would you like us to know positive or negative - about your experience with online trading and investing?
Online investing allows for me to take control of my own investment account and have direct control over my retirement plan. I am able to balance my own account with high risk and low risk investments to save for retirement. I dont need a financial advisor to act as a middle man and make decisions about my investments. I can invest in companies I like and create a portfolio based on my own research of the market and the expected outlook according to my own views. Its my money and I honestly wouldnt be investing so heavily if I wasnt in control of my accounts the way I am now.
