11. What else would you like us to know positive or negative - about your experience with online trading and investing?
After getting more involved in stock trading it is very evident to myself that the market is a very unfair and corrupt place to invest. Retail traders are not able to access the same information as the big brokers and money makers. The constant shorting of stock to drive the price down, the creation of synthetic shares, abuse of the dark pool. I do realize that the long and short position are supposed to bring the true value of the stock to the surface but in recent years the predatory nature of some brokers and/or hedge funds to drive a company out of business has increased drastically. PFOF is a joke when you have orders being routed to the 2 market makers (Virtu Citadel) who can use this information for their own profit. Insider trading? All in all the markets in the USA are full of illegalities and why not? These companies can break laws, steal money ie selling synthetic shares, manipulate stocks, and what is the punishment? Pennies in comparison. So mostly the market in the USA is unfair and corrupt. The market makers and brokerage firms are corrupt. The companies that oversee these firms DTCC, FICC, NSCC OTCC are run by friends and or ex employees of these firms. How can you have the wolf watch the sheep and you wonder why you have losses?
