Price volatility. Market manipulation(February Robinhood), Margin Calls

11. What else would you like us to know positive or negative - about your experience with online trading and investing?
When I started trading I had no idea of the mechanics of the stock market. The language is designed to keep the uneducated out. As time went on and I started to have a simplistic understanding of the workings of the stock market, I find the Stock Market to be more and more repulsive. The blatant market manipulation is appalling. PFOF, how is this still legal in the U.S.? That was a rhetorical question. Every palm is getting greased. I used to wonder where did my money go once I hit BUY. Turns out it was going into Dark Pools, until I learned how to route directly to NYSE. Funny how my broker didn't feel the need to clarify this and I had to learn that on my own. I understand why dark pools exist. I don't understand how the regulatory agency responsible for overseeing the market doesn't crack down on the blatant abuse by the Market Makers. It is disgusting that the same tactics that caused the Dot.com crash, the 2008 and inevitably the next one which is probably not that far down the road are still allowed to continue today. When Fed Presidents start talking about pulling out their money, no matter what BS reason they give, I am sure others will follow. I do not understand how any overseeing agency could be so blind to allow history to continually repeat itself. I am here for one play and one play only. Either I walk away broke or richer than any one man needs to be. I highly doubt I would re-invest in the market without radical changes being made. The entire system is designed for the rich by the rich. It needs to be dismantled. I came here for the money, but for now stay for a better and freer market for all.
