Apparently certain apps can suspend buying on the platform if someone in high enough power starts losing.

11. What else would you like us to know positive or negative - about your experience with online trading and investing?
The internet has democratized trading and has led to an entirely new Generation of traders who I believe are smarter and more educated. However, due to the blatant corruption from companies such as Robinhood and the people paying them such as Citadel has created a unfair market environment that in my opinion is not only dangerous to retail investors but the entire US economy and as an extension the entire world. I believe online trading is ultimately good but we have to put the corruption to an end. It is so blatantly obvious at this point and it can only go on for so long until people are sick of it.
