11. What else would you like us to know positive or negative - about your experience with online trading and investing?
Online trading is not the issue with the market the issue is the corrupt institutions who control the market and have no incentive to stop because of weak rules and non existant punishments. Who would stop manipulating the market to make billions or trillions when all they get is a few hundred thousand to millions in fines. That is just a tax. These institutions need fines equal to 100% of their profit on each count they are found guilty and their executives need jail time to make the system work fairly. The sentiment amoung not just the new traders i know but also long time traders who work for firms is that it's blatantly manipulated but yet no acknowledgement by the SEC makes them want to leave the market or participate far less. There is no excuse for not acknowledging the issues everyone else is clearly seeing with the market. Even if you are actually doing an investigation into those corrupting the market you can acknowledge there is an investigation without compromising or giving details to keep market sentiment up.
