As more and more retail traders pile into investment platforms in hopes of outpacing inflation, theres a growing demand for transparency like never before.

Mistrust and negative sentiment of regulating bodies are growing as more people begin to understand market structures and realize the intimate relationships between large, incumbent market participants and their supposed regulators.

We realize the deliberate disadvantages we have as retail investors and hope to realize the day regulatory agencies will finally crack down on financial misdeeds in real-time and with appropriate punishments, as a cop on the beat should.

It is important for the SEC to have the trust of retail for a healthy market to exist.

But the sobering reality is that we will probably only get a few cryptic tweets to appease our hopes. Every few years, our taxes will pay for the financial destruction wreaked on society by the irresponsible gambling habits of the rich, and the SEC will again fail to prosecute the regular perpetrators.

Im deeply dissatisfied, but not with gamification, or any UI of investment platforms. I have just lost basically all faith in regulatory agencies to do the right things at the right time, and I desperately wish for my childrens sake to be proven wrong.
