I downloaded an app or visited a website first, and then opened up an account with the company

It's not the apps that's the problem it's the rampant fraud from wall street, and market makers front running trades and failing to deliver and the blatant market manipulation. Naked shorting list goes on and you punish them with a fine We're losing faith in the markets it seems more and more like a rigged scam everyday needs a overhaul maybe blockchain even playing field no fraud and prison for people who abuse it.

It shouldn't at all no matter the price or ramifications of said price we have a free market.

Its easier online than it was in traditional form simplified and easy to access, faster.
