October 26, 2022 Thank you for the opportunity to comment on S7-08-22 Short Position Short Activity Reporting by Institutional Investment Managers. I have been told that short positions are a necessary part of equity markets. If this is true then they should be held to the same transparency requirements as long positions via 13F filings. I support this proposal for increasing transparency in short position disclosures, and believe it should be strengthened to meet the same filing requirements as long positions. Thank You
