Is the current system for reporting short positions and short activities working properly? If data is neither accurate nor timely, then what is the point of collecting data? Millions of trades are facilitated in fractions of a millisecond via supercomputers, yet basic reporting remains an unsolved mystery. As a retail investor, this is both disheartening and infuriating.
