The proposed changes to the 13-F reduces transparency in the markets to a bad degree. A fund managing $100 million is not a small business that needs paperwork relief. Any company that must currently file a 13-F can take 45 days to release the info if they building a position they would like to hide for the time being and also can ask to get confidential treatment to further delay disclosure. None of this is an undue burden and should not be curbed.
