Investors should have the opportunity to invest their hard-earned dollars however they see fit. Granted, Investment funds, broker-dealers, and other entities should seek every avenue to properly disclose, advise, and protect investors.
With that being said, investors across the spectrum--including but not limited to--retail investors, accredited investors, qualified investors, professional investors, should have the opportunity to invest directly into a fund of private funds.
Being able to invest directly into a fund or private funds would help to diversify investment, reduce risk, and allow a broader range of the public to gain reasonable access to formerly hard-to-access private funds.
